Flat tire

Have you ever been cruising down the interstate and all the sudden you hear a loud noise. You loose control don’t panic it’s probably a blown or flat tire. You should pull as far as you can over on the shoulder so there’s room to change the tire without worrying about being hit by a car going 70 mph.

The chase for the Nextel cup this year has been expanded to 12 instead of the 10. Last year Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jeff Gordon missed the chase so there hoping that most of the big drivers can make the chase with a bigger field going for the Nextel cup. Hopefully it will be some good racing come time for the chase.

The new mustang looks great very sporty and fast. It has a powerful engine pushing 300 hp and 320-.lb-.ft of torque The v8 engine delivers outstanding acceleration from 0 to 60 in 4.9 seconds now that’s fast. I cant wait to go test drive one when they come out. They say it supposed to start out at under 26,000 dollars a very affordable muscle car.

86 Ford Taurus a Joke

Blog Category: Autos, Ford, Tips, news — Blogged by: Ford on November 9, 2007 at 11:59 pm

I owned a 1986 ford Taurus and let me tell you replacing the heater core is a joke. It all started one day driving down the road it got cold so i turn the heat on and antifreeze shot all over the front windshield. I couldn’t see anything so i had to pull over and wipe off the windshield. The next day I went to the parts store and asked for a heater core the guy laugh said good luck buddy. So I went home started to take apart the car and realized the whole dash board had to come out. To cut it short didn’t end up putting the heater core in it was a joke.

Race Traffic Blues

If you have ever been to a Nascar race track like Michigan International Speedway then you know all to well how bad the traffic is getting out after the race. I think they should have people guiding people out of the track like they do when you first get to the track. The people are so rude when your trying to get out it’s not even funny. It takes hours just to leave the parking lot once your out it usually flows pretty good.

Older Cars Suck

Blog Category: Autos, car stories, news — Blogged by: Ford on October 23, 2007 at 1:40 pm

I drive a car that sucks literally. Its really bad on gas whether its the gas leak or the really high gas prices. The car i drive is a 1985 and its a beast of a car. I’m constantly putting more money into it like right know it needs a water pump. I get embarrassed driving down the road because it squeals horribly bad. Time for a change.

Working Safe

Blog Category: Autos, Chevy, Tips, news — Blogged by: Ford on October 15, 2007 at 3:50 pm

When ever you start to work on your car you should first make sure you have everything you need. Do you have a properly working jack, do you have jack stands? You don’t ever wont to get under a car that’s jacked up unless it’s first properly secure with jack stands because the car could fall and kill you. Also when it’s getting darker make sure you have proper lighting so you can see what your doing. Always disconnect the negative battery terminal when ever your working on anything electric or you could short out something out.

Winterizing Your Auto

Blog Category: Autos, Chevy, Ford, Tips, car stories, news — Blogged by: Ford on October 7, 2007 at 1:55 am

Do you ever wonder what to do when it gets cold out if your car will start? Well you should of made sure that the battery was good enough to make it thru the cold months. Also you should make sure your antifreeze has the right pH so it will not freeze when it really gets cold. Think about replacing your regular wiper blades with some winter wiper blades and don’t forget the washer solvent it comes in handing to get salt off the windows. Make sure you have good tires on your car so you don’t loose traction. One other important thing to have is an emergency road kit, blankets, and jumper cables in the trunk. Those are some good tips there are others but those should help out.
